Williams Geotechnical Group, a business unit of
Gannett Fleming, is providing geotechnical engineering
services as part of an open-end contract to the Florida
Department of Transportation, District 1. The types of
services being provided include roadway construction,
bridge construction, and widening projects.
Our firm works within and around environmentally sensitive areas that require monitoring, coordinating, and working with local regulatory agencies. This requires effective process and plans design to protect environmental areas and resources.
The coordination of projects between the client, contractor, and subcontractors is essential to make sure operations are seamless and safe. Daily, weekly, and monthly communication and coordination meetings are implemented, as well as project completion review meetings. The project completion review meetings are designed to identify operational deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
